Iran Talks

I believe that what we are trying to do with Iran is good in making sure that they do not create nuclear bombs but the fact that we are not offering a compromise is bad. For example if they are using the facilities for energy and we do not want them to then we should offer to help them build or finance a form of alternate energy such as solar energy to make up for the potential energy that they would have lost.

  1. i agree, we should come up with a compromise that both of us agree on. that way we dont get mad at them and they dont get mad at us. i think a compromise when fighting with parents is always better then just your parents saying no i dont want to hear what you have to say. so listening and trying to understand both sides should try to happen.

  2. I totally agree that in dealing with Iran we need to give them other solutions and be more willing to work with them in solving their energy problems.

  3. While I do not think it is up to us to finance there alternative energy, I agree that we should "educate" them on some alternative forms of energy. While nuclear is efficient, I feel like giving them the resources to potentially build weapons is going a little too far. I like the idea Obama came up with of refining the uranium in Russia or some other place and then giving it to the Iranians.
