Iran Talks
I believe that what we are trying to do with Iran is good in making sure that they do not create nuclear bombs but the fact that we are not offering a compromise is bad. For example if they are using the facilities for energy and we do not want them to then we should offer to help them build or finance a form of alternate energy such as solar energy to make up for the potential energy that they would have lost.

i agree, we should come up with a compromise that both of us agree on. that way we dont get mad at them and they dont get mad at us. i think a compromise when fighting with parents is always better then just your parents saying no i dont want to hear what you have to say. so listening and trying to understand both sides should try to happen.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree that in dealing with Iran we need to give them other solutions and be more willing to work with them in solving their energy problems.
ReplyDeleteWhile I do not think it is up to us to finance there alternative energy, I agree that we should "educate" them on some alternative forms of energy. While nuclear is efficient, I feel like giving them the resources to potentially build weapons is going a little too far. I like the idea Obama came up with of refining the uranium in Russia or some other place and then giving it to the Iranians.
